Lovely soup machine, Steve. I Love tomato soup, I have grown lots of tomatoes, but I have no soupmachine😩 So I have to make it as I always do……roast the tomatoes in the oven, and cook them in a pan on the stove for hours. Thanks for the video. Have a nice week.

OXO makes an omelette spatula that works great for the sieving and to scrape sides of the ninja and bowl (gets all the goodness). Learned that trick because of puréeing blackberries, that spatula seems to help the process go faster, probably because you can push and scrape larger amounts than a spoon......and works fabulously for an omelette😁. I grew lemon drop basil this year and it adds a great flavor to tomato soup. More work, but roast those Cherokee purples with the onion and garlic before you make that soup....I promise it will take the the flavor up several notches (almost a smoked flavor). Now I am craving grilled cheese and tomato soup, that will have to wait until those Cherokee’s of mine do more than blush.
@DigwellGreenfingers2 жыл бұрын
Brilliant - I'll see about getting that spatula. OXO make some good gadgets - their potato peeler is the best! I was going to spruce up the soup but I wasn't sure if the grandkids would like it or not - so plain old CoT this time. I do the roasting and garlic thing with sauces, lush taste! Have a great week and thanks for watching!

Nice one Steve, i might try that one, i bought a Soup Maker last year just to speed up the process like you said, and it was just a case of chuck the ingredients in and that was it, a bit like using a Slow Cooker but a bit faster 🤣i did notice the make of your Soup Maker and blimey hope that was a retirement present from work as those Ninjas cost a few quid, Tray would love one of those in fact she would like any Ninja products. At least your Soup looks nice and tasty hopefully with some crusty bread on the side? 🍅🍅🍞🍞 Stay Safe mate 😷 Barry (Wirral)

The Ninja range are on the dear side but they are well made and "solid", They fell like they will last if you know what I mean, Barry.
