Its hard to find master carpentets and builder in the DC, MD, & VA area. Not that there aren't good hard workers. But it's hard to find them. I had a friend from Portugal, who did amazing work. I have yet to find someone like him. He's back in Portugal.

Excellent work. One thing I would add is an entasis (slight taper). This is where the bottom 1/3 of the column has a uniform diameter and slightly tapers in towards the top, for the remaining 2/3 of the column. The necking (at the top) being 5/6 the diameter of the base.
