Thanks for the tutorial! It worked. But sometimes I randomly stumble upon an error: Cannot mark assets and scenes in one AssetBundle. I sometimes somehow miraclously fix it or sometimes I just can't fix it, even when I remove all suns, points, cameras and just everything that's not armature in blender. How do I remove the scene from there? I couldn't find a tutorial on that. Obviously I need just the assets, right? Anything that could fix this error. Also, in most of the animations I want to make for my mod characters are supposed to interact with objects, so how do I place them in blender so I can attach and know where they are supposed to be to base the animation around that?

i just did this, but when i imported it into unity, there were more than one animation? and clicking the imported thing does nothing, its the same as a regular fbx model, file scale options and all

It's complicated when you have more animations, you can use one of the exported rigs since they for some reason have both animations just duplicate them SEPERATELY in different names when opening the FBX in unity. Export from blender WITHOUT the mesh only leave the ARMATURE!

How do you duplicate the animations folder or is it for old versions? im using the new version edit:I did it but it saves it as unitypackage even tho i wrote unity3d

if you mean duplicating the anim file click on it and press CTRL+D, use Unity 2017.3

@@IMSOCOOL_2211 I also wasn't able to move the parts and the model was too big, but when I installed that exact blender version as him, it worked. Maybe you need an older version of blender(however in my case my version of blender was too old, maybe in your case it's too new, you might try that) Also be sure you selected the armature at the right panel and gone from object mode to pose mode in the bottom panel

I use blender 2.79, you can import the model by going to top left corner in blender File/Import/FBX and then you click on your model and press import!

@@helensouza7371 I applied texture in the material tab on the right you go press shadeless button and then go to image tab and put in your texture. Camera press 5 to get that type of view and numberpad numbers to switch views you can try it out u will figure it out

Yep it’s totally okay! But they just use the older version because (probably) it runs faster!!
