How to make custom inversions in planet coaster

This is a tutorial video on how to make custom inversions, using long pieces, and minimal smoothing/stretching. Note that the heartline roll isn't the best, but this gives you a good base, you can customize them from there. The premade inversions are still a good choice if you want to make your life easier, and it will usually be smoother, but it highly restricts the way you enter and leave the roll, which is why a custom one is often the better choice.

I mention it in the video, its a quick and easy way of making custom inversions without needing to press smooth 5000 times. Besides, the 4m method isnt actually smooth most of the time, bumper view isnt the real view, everything is always smooth from bumper.

@@siriuscowking8615agreed and its also very jerky if you were to use the “ 4m method “ you should Taylor the size of the pieces at times, on any type of piece that’s not inverting just use long pieces and if you’re coaster trains are lower and longer definitely use more offset, auto complete is your friend delete the smaller pieces 2-3 pieces max then auto complete them to eliminate the jittery transition by means of a longer piece. The thing I hate about pc is the roller coaster tycoon style building grid engine conflicts with the coaster builder engine and your track pieces all have a tiny straight edge even in a fully bent piece, where as no limits you make the track butter smooth without constantly changing the profiling , I’m a big fan of no limits over pc but love both I’m new to pc only had it a couple of days but my knowledge and experience in no limits made it easier for me then most people. I’m also the type of person that only cares about the coasters and I’ll never even open any type of game senario other then sandbox lol because the park sim and design doesn’t do it for me only realistic rolller coasters for me , but with no computer and an old ps4 I’m very happy to have pc to fill the void that no limits left for me. But I can design the layouts the smoothest without smoothing if your pieces are laid at the best angles and sizes another pro tip make sure the degrees of your angles are the same going up and down through a zero g or any other types of rolls also there’s two types of loops round and cathlithoid aka tear drop use and abuse both when possible
