Great videos, I've just made a custom diesel tank this way.

Outstanding tank creation videos. I assume that thickening epoxy for the fitting threads must be a well known boat mating technique, but not sure how to make it.

Hello, You are amazing. I love your videos. Very informative and well presented. I know a lot of work and experience has been applied in producing them. Your work is professional. I would like you to explain how you thickened the epoxy. Best regards.

Are you using regular fiberglass resign from a hardware store or do you need a special marine-grade epoxy? Thanks.

IT'S LITERALLY THE SAME PRICE TO JUST BUY A TANK. Epoxy alone is going to be $200.

I think you missed the point about size availability for plastic tanks. There were NO plastic tanks that fit my needs. I wanted max space but still needed something that would fit through the opening in the V-berth. Buy yourself a plastic tank if that works in your situation.

@@boatnotes6885 You can get just about any size. I just ordered mine from a local company. 85G tank. They even put the holes in it for you exactly where you want them. They can also make custom sizes. Definitely more money but making one seems like a major pain in the ass and time is much more important.
