Try out this super delicious and soothing dal fry recipe which is not only quick but best to prepare with minimal ingredients and get a perfect dish for anytime meal.
Serving - 4
Ingredients :
1 cup toor dal or arhar ki dal
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 chopped green chilli
1 small chopped tomatoes
4 to 5 cloves
3 cups water
2 tbsp ghee
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seed
1 tsp mustard seed
1/4 tsp asafoitida or hing
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 inch chopped ginger
2 to 3 chopped green chillies
2 chopped tomatoes
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 cup water
For tempering-
1 tbsp ghee
1 tsp cumin seed
2 dried red chilli
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
Garnish it with some chopped coriander leaves
