good idea, but the electrical safety at 230V can better. use insulated clamps and a snug fitting for the outgoing wire. that can be dangerous.

Bro use a safety guard for Angle grinder. My friend's finger is cutted. Reason is broke and fell his arm. Most of the peoples who watching this vedio is imitating like what you do. So you must practice safety precautions like protecting glass, gloves etc.. Or u put a precaution lines in vedio. Do not take this as advice. Wait, you soldered the power wires to the led strip, but then just twist wrapped the wires from the power cord to the adapter box, why? Just take the time to solder those too (and have shrink tubing to cover the joint. (you lost points with me thwre) Hopefully the blue tape is electrical rated (I like 3M 88 tape personally). Lamp definitely needs a switch.
