I am so ready to try to make this jam. Patience is a virtue we only have roselle seedlings at this time. Thank you for this video

Thanks I will have to try that, I'll have to get some roselle plants first, thanks. American beauty berries are supposed to make really good jam too, the guy at Eat The Weeds shows how to make the jam on his channel, the leaves can be steam distilled to make insect repellent comparable to DEET. I'm glad to see all of you doing well and happy.

I'm ready to get on my JAM!

Jam looks delicious, but you don't save the seeds before boiling the fruits?
@TheMoreYouGrow2 жыл бұрын
I let the pods dry on the plant if saving seeds, but they then can’t be used for jam

How many plants do you suggest to get enough for jam?
@TheMoreYouGrow2 жыл бұрын
2-3 is plenty

WOW, I hope I have success growing roselle next year because I am dying to try this out! The only thing you add is sugar - I love it! One question: How long do you leave the plate in the freezer with the jam on it before taking it out? Fantastic job on videoing & explaining the steps in the process. The pace of the video & the clear speaking was perfect. Hope to see more videos like this in the future. Thx! 🧡😀👍

Just sugar and some lemon juice! 😁 and only a minute or in the freezer. You’re not trying to freeze it, just the consistency once it is no longer hot. Thank you so much for the compliments. I was hoping it wasn’t too much detail haha 😁
@sonnyamoran73832 жыл бұрын
That's the problem. In something like this, you need the details. Thanks so much.

Wonderful video! Make sure you take those rings off because they can hide a false seal. 💞
