However, some pore strips contain parabens and other ingredients you may not want on your face. That's why this DIY is a great alternative! It contains dairy, a great source of lactic acid, which helps to mildly exfoliate your skin.

I think it's better to just buy regular drugstore pore strips. I did this a couple years ago (Michelle Phan showed it) and they didn't work that well. Plus the mixture smells absolutely disgusting.

Um, lactic acid does not exfoliate the skin. Lactic acid is apart of the energy systems in your body, and you can train your lactic acid system by exercising for longer than 15-20 seconds (otherwise you train your ATP energy system).
