SB is side back 2 strips and CB is Center back also 2 strips For measurements, use another skirt that fits well, I don’t have mannequin either, that’s what I use.

I cannot see. Are you folding at the top dot then folding the pleat or connecting both dots then fold up? Also how many inches did you spread the pieces? Thank you for sharing so beautiful 😍

Just connect the dots 🤗👍 , the spread is all upt to your preference , mine has 2.5" to 3.5" spread.

Hi Obi , about the measurement of the spread on each pleats , it all depends on your preference 👍 theres no standard measure.... thats why its important to test it first on a cheap fabric.

I am here to give a feedback, I did try it, the only issue I have is the pleats not extending to the other side, so I had to use handle needle to hold and extend it. I used 1inches between each.

Thats right , different fabric different effect .... I used Gazar in this tutorial , which is a woven fabric with structure.

Its beacause these are the area where we take in or take out when the dress needs ajustments , esp. the side seams and Center back seam that has 1 or 1.5" allowance.
