Actually, used 2 make slippers through medium cardboard mixed w/ thin - wide rubber; but, as you've shown on the screen was good enough as used 2 give as gifts loved ones, friends & employers. totally love the idea of the beautiful colourful drinking straw slippers,but I will adapt to make envelopes for storing things in now I know what to do with our recycled straws, I am amazed that you just need to iron the straws together, clever useful idea, thank you for sharing.I love what you make and do, it gives us brilliant things to make and do.we have used straws in silicon moulds to make butterflies in the oven.cut up straws to little bits, put in silicon moulds, pop in medium oven, watch it melt, then take out of the oven, wait till it is cold then cut your shapes.good fun.
