How To Make Dutch Pancakes From Scratch | Pannenkoeken recept! 🥞🥞

Today I will be teaching you a Dutch recipe!! I will show you how to make Dutch Pancakes from scratch! In the Netherlands we call it Pannenkoeken! You probably wondering what’s the difference between Dutch and American Pancakes? Well Dutch Pancakes are much thinner and larger than the American/Western style Pancakes!
As a kid I always loved when my mom made fresh Pancakes at home. They taste so good when they’re still hot! It takes some time to make them but it’s definitely worth it, they’re so yummy!
Plate it to your preference. You can use powdered sugar, brown sugar, granulated sugar or pancake syrup! You can enjoy Pannenkoeken as a snack during any time of the day and for any occasion. I’m confident that no one can skip this delicious sweet snack, everyone will love this different take on Pancakes!

One thing I’ve noticed, and everyone feel free to chime in, the recipes in other countries are kept so simple. I love it!!! Here in America, we add way too much processed crap. I also noticed that the recipe doesn’t require sugar as pancakes here in America do. Interesting. Can’t wait to try these.

I know I'm a bit late, but you can add sugar to the batter if you want, plenty of people do. They're also really tasty with savory toppings like cheese or slices of meat.

Very nice, it turned out very well.. I remember growing up with these in Holland, I have always liked them since young. Plus these kinda remind me of Somali crepes in some ways, especially the texture and the thinness.. Both kapot lekker✌✊

Same as the South African recipe, as it originated from Dutch Settlers. Only exception is a tablespoon of vinager or lemon juice is added to batter. Sometimes half milk is substituted with water as well.

1 cup flower 1 cup milk 1 egg, add a little milk if its too thick and whip. Then throw it in the pan and cook it. Eat with syrup berries etc

Thank you! I haven't had Jumbo Pannenkoeken in a long time, the last brand I had was the Jan Pannenkoeken. While they are yummy too, I haven't seen them in the U.S. and for me personally I really enjoy making my own home made ones since they can be eaten fresh 😊👍

The recipe I always use is as follows: 200 grams flour 500 ml milk 1 egg 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon After putting butter in the pan, put stripes of bacon, then the batter and or put cheese on top. Sometimes banana etc. Eat it all with powdered sugar or syrup. Enjoy
