How To Make Electric Bike Using Two Self Motor

Hi friends today I am going to show how to make electric bike from two self starter motor of bike (Two starter motor each 300 w ,12 v)The motors are suitable for short time use so it is better to run it giving rest.
It is more powerful if you use a car starter motor than bike starter motor.

Are you using the bicycle frame as ground for your Motors and if so would that cause problems for lighting or any other electrical applications on board utilizing different voltages (even if they aren't grounded to the frame)? In case that sounds like a stupid question it probably is but I'm a noob with an abundance of questions and very limited knowledge on such things (which is why I'm watching these videos and asking these questions)

Over time and going uphill will make them wire ties break. Need to come up with a better mount for them sprockets. But other the that awesome job.

I cannot seriously believe those tie wraps would keep the sprocket in place for a second. When he is testing it at the end I don't see the tie wraps at all. The other thing is the two motors would have to have identical performance otherwise one side of the wheel would be trying to run faster than the other (assuming the tie wraps didn't let the whole thing fall apart) - the whole thing is very fishy. He loosely marks the position of the holes for the bracket on a piece of paper. Usually this means the holes have to be oversize because otherwise they will never align with the holes in the motor flange and you wont get the bolts through. If it is electric why is he seen peddling it ? Or are the motors not really doing anything and he is travelling down hill to keep moving ?

@@DiyintheGhetto Actually he would not be able to weld the gear wheel because of the hole in the centre of the gearwheel. It would be impossible/unrealistic to weld to the spokes. He would need a disc to fit on the hub then weld the wheel on top of that. Either way the whole thing would not last. It is probably a con but I suppose if you have nothing else then it's a useful starting point. It is only when you build something and start using it you find problems.

Starter motor takes very high amp and generates heat. Not worthy your idea. Can't even Last for 2 weeks. It's not practically good idea
