In this video, I will show you How to make electric mouse trap machine at home. When the mouse/rat enters the cage, the door automatically closes. The mouse can never escape the trap. This rat trap is based on a very simple principle. This is very easy to make. This electric rat trap is much effective than traditional mouse traps.

What if the mouse just sits on the activation pad.....wont it just stall the motor till either battery dies or motor burns out?.....should put a timer on it. well done though.

Wouldn't the motor only run when the mouse is sitting on the connector? Seems like a time or two it would start to raise the door but stop when the mouse moved on to the bait. Great video though. You made this project seem approachable for something that would have seemed too intimidating otherwise. I wonder if door would close faster if you hinged it at the top and let gravity swing it down (if the magnet's strong enough to prevent the mouse from pushing it open).
