I totally agree with his statement on using drums first or last. I use to make the drums first and then the melody. Most of the time they all the sounded the same . Until i took a different approach doing it the opposite way. Now that i do the melodies first i have more options for the style of genre I’m going for. Nice vid btw

That is the way I have always done my music, Music then beats :D I only recently started to do the other way and realize it is way more difficult to structure the song from a beat than it is to structure a song from a melody.

I have fl studio 11 producer edition, I would love to make music but I cant seem to stay consistent with it, I get sidetracked from one thing to another.
