Hi Hilah! I'm a US American living in Germany and just discovered your videos yesterday. After watching a bunch to help me host a Mexican dinner party, I have to tell you that you do a great job aiding me in making the food I miss most from home, especially with your knowledge of food science and your witty humor! Now I'm homesick... but I've got some homemade tamales & tortillas to cheer me up! Thanks!

I've been dreaming about making these for a month, and finally got around to making them last night. I've now been in the hospital since 5am getting my stomach pumped and being treated for deliciousness. I think I'm going to make some falafel tonight and use the extra leftover sauce like tzatziki.

Hiya Hilah, can you tell me what brand of baking dish you are using in this video? Those side handles are pretty spiffy! Also, I never make enchiladas which need to be shallow fried because I: don't have time/it's smelly/I waste oil. I see that you didn't do that here, does not frying them take away from the softness or yumminess of the completed dish? Thank you!
@mmmmommy9 жыл бұрын

Hilah, I hope you, your hubby and Chef Baby have a Happy New Year. That joke went RIGHT over my head until you pointed it out. I must be getting slow in my old age. Thanks for another year of great recipes.
