Hi Hayley, just a big thanks for this tutorial. I was asked to make these for my soon to be great grandson, and handed the letters and various bits of fabric. I didn't know where to start until I found your great tutorial. Now I'm one down, and just six more to go...

Hi I’m struggling with letters like K & M. How do you do the bits at the inner points? I can’t seem to get my scissors into the points and it’s hard to fold any material into the inner points. My material then frays and I’m using really nice material. So I’m wasting it as I’m trying about 3 times. How do you do these letters please as I’m giving up all hope? I’m making for my sisters new baby girl. Thank you 😊😊

This is a great tutorial - thank you for sharing. I was doing really well until I got to the A and I am now pulling my hair out with frustration. I know you have recommended to others to place the fabric before gluing but I am finding the fabric binding is too bulky to even fit. It would be really helpful if you could record it. Thank you Roz

A bit late to the party but loving your video. Might be a stupid question but I’m curious as to why you join the two seems up the long side and not at an edge where they would be more hidden. Is it just personal preference or is there a reason for it? 😊

How do you do the rounded letters? Do you have to cut it differently?
@2point4grinsteds919 жыл бұрын
Laura Wilkens you do it exactly the same, on tight corners you may want to make small slits in the fabric like i did in the corners on this video just to ease round smoother. hope that makes sense :)

Hi, thanks for the video, really helpful!! However, I am struggling to do the middle of the A in my daughters name Jasmine, any tips would be greatly appreciated x x
@2point4grinsteds918 жыл бұрын
Hi Rachael, the centre of the A is probably the trickiest! Rather than stick the edge as I go I try to place the whole inside piece where it should go then run the glue all the way round as close to the inside as I can. It doesn't have to be tight on the inside so don't worry about pulling it whilst you stick 😀
@jherlyoung2738 жыл бұрын

Hey! Great Tutorial... thank you so much! Im making them for my goddaughter for her 1st birthday. Her name is MEGAN. Ive done the MEGN with no problems... and ive nearly finished the A but im stuck with how to do the edging of the innee part of the A ? HELP! xxx
@2point4grinsteds919 жыл бұрын
Hi Sally the inside of the A is super fiddly! I find its best to put it in first without any glue then carefully pull up the edges and glue whilst it's in place. I had to use tweezers to push it into the corners I'm afraid there's no magic trick. Try again and if its still not happening let me know and I'll try to record it 😊

+Amy Petty Hi Amy, This totally depends on the width of your fabric and whether you are using a contrasting colour for the edging x
