thank you very much for sharing this technique! yours was the only one i could find that didn't require you to sew the sheet into a hoop first and was the most comprehensive for me, a true beginner to follow along with. much appreciated;-)

Yes! Thank you. It's a no sew method. I bought fabric for a special rug, and I can't sew edges. I thought I'd have to be hand stitching forever. Ytube has brought crafting out of the small town shops and homes. I'm in the Caribbean, and watching this wonderful method.

i absolutely love your tutorials!!!! You are very thorough but, in the same sense not extremly slow in the process. I have learned crochet and many crafts through these youtube tutorials and hands down you are the absolute BEST

I think this method is very practical, time saving compared to stopping and adding strips while working, and as you mentioned, neater strips. Unfortunately when you moved the fabric to get into camera range that actually moved fabric too far away to see your actual cuts. Too bad, the instructions were a bit confusing. Thanks for sharing this method, will definitely use it, hopefully I can figure out the cutting of the top!

It's all shown twice Sharon so you should be able to get a good view of the cutting process. Thanks!

. Great idea for continued length ,much neater than tearing ! How about using ruler for width without moving it??

@@jodygillikin4874 I watched a video where the woman was ripping up sheets. Yikes. As if that was less strenuous.

My strips are awfully frayed after crocheting. I am going to make a continual bias strip instead see if that helps, but of course you get less yardage that way. Any advice from Jody or the fans?

You can try a jersey knit fabric, but it stretches

@jodygillikin48747 жыл бұрын
That's where I get a lot of mine too Niccole. Usually wash them as soon as I get them home. I use any size sheet that has the colors I'm looking for. I also use the fitted sheets and pillowcases. Thanks for commenting.
