Kenneth Wooley I think it’s an awesome idea, it’s also something that has been requested many times! Interestingly, my very first upload is sort of like a Metro style LO, although not officially deemed that, it’s still close-ish lol. But yeah I’ve been considering doing a full on Metro LO for some time now, I will probably end up doing it one of these days!

Mods such as Lootable Cars, Lootable Vault boxes would be a great addition along with Junkmaster, if you want extra weapons and armour. As well as Crossbows, if you want that Walking dead Daryl vibe and Any mod which adds the Resident evil costumes.

What I would love is the ability to actually have several versions of the game installed, all with their unique modlist, so that you don't have to disable/enable shit all the time if you want to play in a different setting.

It’s funny in a way because I can never have a file with mods I want to keep installed long term since I’m always changing my LO and trying new mods for videos, so being able to have a separate file that doesn’t require an entire new Xbox would be amazing

@@flopkin Yeah man, it really would haha. I'm on PC, and even on PC, it's just not possible because the mod managers just won't allow it haha. You can only add 1 of each game to the library, so I just stick with whatever mods I download haha, because if I want to play in a different setting, I will need to disable every conflicting mod and start a new game, which means the save I'm playing on now would be corrupted and therefor, unusable, even if I install all the mods that were active on that save. It really sucks haha. That's why I just aim to make my current save as amazing as possible. I currently have over 100 mods installed. I think the mods take up more storage than the game itself at this point 😂

@@MetroVerse Late reply, but you can def do this with Vortex. Use the profile feature. I have a different load order for each play through. I click switch profile and it switches to a different load order.

A new mod I've found on PS4 is the "Bleak" mod and the Ambiance and Reverb Mod. The Bleak mod makes the game terrifying as nights are darker, and it's either raining,foggy, or snowing. It also adds a blur effect for far away items and with a nod that adds trees and bushes, the wind constantly pushes them around making it hard to tell plant from enemy.

Use NAC X fixed. Weather/lighting overhaul. It also uses darker nights in its main. Presets include Resident Evil atmosphers and lighting ex. RE 2 remake. It als9 has a built in flashlight thats points forward instead of the wonky light being to the right be uase of pip boy. Use settings customize lighting such as saturation, contrast, bloom, etc. Also creates climates and storms like snow storms and nukes being dropped (really cool enviroment and explosion backgrounds). You can also make interiors brighter or darker.

Started a new game with these mods yesterday. A nice addition would also be settlement supplies expanded, awareness (so settlers don't get killed instantly by the hordes), traveling NPC and some mod that improves the scrapping of junk considering you'd take the most resources you can on a zombie apocalypse instead of a single plank that's either ways broken.

Good ideas, I found Settlement Supplies Expanded and NPCs Travel and added them in, but I don't know where the Awareness one is, or the exact Junk Scrapping one since there's quite a few of those

No joke I did this play-through with this and it was AMAZING. Reminded me of the Resident Evil 2 remake gameplay, having to conserve ammo and out maneuvering the ghouls. So much tension is added when there doin 2x damage 😬

From what I’ve experienced the mod is of much higher quality than other drivable vehicle mods. The only issue I ran into was the third person camera simply breaking. 🤷‍♂️ When I go to aim down sights the camera zooms out instead of zooming in.

Thank you for the awesome channel. This video inspired me when you first released it, 7 months later I'm still playing LO heavily influenced by it. I've downloaded a mod that turns off settlement attacks, and cranked up the settlement attacks in the Zombie Walker mod. I constantly have zombie attacks, great for an immersive zombie apocalypse playthrough. Thank you again, one of my very favorite channels.

A mod I recommend for making the game harder is progressive weapon perks, which removes the flat damage increase and makes it so 1% of damage = 1 level, essentially making headshots a must if you want to survive

Even if I'm 2 years late, this video was the perfect base for creating my Winter Zombie Apocalypse. By adding Fallout: 2287 (which makes the survival part of the game even more dire as now one have unique winter stats to controll as well as both a new winter themed glowing one variation and illnesses), this sure becomes a dire survival horror. Also, hope to find some good outfit mods now.

Try this mod with some of the metro mods with clickerfied ghouls then you’ll just be strolling through the metro demolishing enemies then go into a dark area and hear clicking noises it can get terrifying when you add the small flashlight mod and phydark 128 which I believe is the darkest mode

I use ghouls of the Commonwealth, zombie apocalypse, and curse of darkness wh darker nights.... also I had a battle feels mod and arbitration to add to the game difficulty. Better have lots of ammunition with an automatic weapon, a lot of endurance, and a place to make a stand in mind at all times... If you're going to play it my way.

The Immersive Gameplay overhaul makes it way harder than the world is dying. I did my last play through with it, zombie walkers, and ghouls of the Commonwealth... And it was unbelievably difficult

The rad weather for ps4 is pretty nice the radition is stronger, more different heavier weather options and the nights are also darker. It's basically a radiated ps4 version of true storms.

Feral Nights adds ghoul spawns at night that will hunt the player. amount of ghouls, chance of spawn, how often will spawn happen again, etc all customizable. also True Storms has an optional setting that kinda does the same thing during Rad storms. thx for the video man! great mod recommendations

The starting of the world is so hard, zombies one shot or two shot you and you have barely any stems and some zombies give you radiation and you have barely any rad x or ammo truly a challenge but nice video bro. This made the death claw at the starting look easy

@@flopkin No problem. The money side of things is dodgy at best. Especially with how things are as of late. I am wondering, actually. How much did it cost you to start making videos?

You got that right haha. Well, I've been doing video/photo/audio for over 10 years now, so I've accumulated most of my equipment over time (microphone, editing software, capture device, computer, camera, etc.). But if I had to total up what I use for making these videos, it's probably about $1,500-$1,600 USD (this also includes the cost of the Mac I use, which was around $1,000 in 2012). If you already have a computer, you're looking at around $450-$500 worth of equipment. Like I said this was all purchased over the course of years. Also by no means do you need to use equipment that costs that much either, like you can get all of that equipment, even including a half decent computer for like $700-$800 that gets the job done just fine. If you already have a computer that is strong enough to capture video (which nowadays, many are), you can get an elgato and a decent mic setup for around $200. If you're on Windows, I believe the free editing software they come with, Windows Movie Maker, can handle/render HD now, so you'll already have that. And if you're on Mac, iMovie normally comes free and that can handle/render HD too. I don't use iMovie or Movie Maker, but those will do just fine. I suppose you can categorize the equipment I use as like, "higher tier", but by no means is it "the best", you know? Like I said, you can get into this on a very fair budget with equipment that will do just fine. But once you start spending a little more like I have over the years, you certainly do get that 'extra 10%', if you know what I'm saying. Sorry to ramble, as you can probably tell I like talking about this stuff lol!

No problem, glad to talk about it anytime. If you ever have any questions about that stuff don't hesitate to leave a comment, I always try to reply! As far as growing this channel, I'm not 100% sure about how it will happen. It's more of a hobby and something I just simply enjoy doing, rather than something I plan to make money off of. As it stands today, I have made 0 dollars and 0 cents from KZbin, for my income comes from a job that isn't this. Ideally I'd like the channel to gain popularity, but no matter how popular it gets, I will always continue to make videos until they day comes where it's time to stop. I suppose I'll just continue doing what I've been doing for the past year, if people subscribe then they subscribe, if they don't, they don't. To be honest I'm not sure how else to grow the channel lol. Monetization is also something that I've been a little wary about going forward with. Though this channel is eligible for it, I'm just not entirely sure if I want to involve any sort of income. From what I hear, monetized videos seem to be prioritized more on the KZbin search algorithm, so that could very well be a way to help the channel grow, but again I'm a little wary of doing that for a variety of reasons. Mainly because once you start involving money in something, it can (but not always), become more of a chore rather than a hobby. That and I also don't want to hurt the viewing experience by having adds. I don't know, it's something I need to think about. I'm open to the idea, just not sure. I also plan to start uploading once a week once I'm done with school (which will hopefully this May), so that might help too. My current upload schedule is a little sporadic because of that. It also takes a while to make these kinds of videos, so uploading daily like many KZbinrs do isn't really realistic for me, but once a week may be feasible in the near future. I suppose we'll see. I hope the channel grows, but whether it does or doesn't, it won't stop me from doing this. The content may change over time in terms of variety, but no matter how popular it gets it won't stop me from putting my best effort into making each and every video.

Love your videos and helps me find extremely good mods that I consider hidden gems like Smoother Sun Shadow. I came across an awesome armor mod that fits with Zombie Apoc. Its Claire's Outfit. Claire Redfield outfit for that Resident Evil Zombie Apoc beat down. It uses CBBE Curvy though.

The one thing I don't like about Zombie Walkers mod, is that zombies can spawn inside your secure house (Locked door...) that even the most skillful raider can't enter. There's nothing more frustrating the spending time to secure your home, just to have zombies suddenly spawn by magic right beside you.

Oh, headshots do 10 times the damage is a good mod for this. Some guns with lights would be good as well. Glock 19x, FN 5.7, Mk 23, HK usp, and I think there's one that just adds them to guns.

Vivid weather's with silent hill patch is great for zombies load orders, it adds a thick fog and every few minutes a air raid siren goes of and monsters come after you until the siren stops

Brandon Romero Glad you liked the video! I’m not exactly sure on how to fix that lunge issue, I’ve never acutally encountered it myself, but I have noticed on occasion they can kind of glide at you if they’re on a hill or any sort of decline. But if it’s becoming a big issue and they’re doing it all the time, I would start by checking the holo tape to see if there’s any settings you could tweak, if there’s nothing there then I’d try a proper hard reset. Sometimes mods take a little while to get working, I’d play with it for a little while to see if it resolves itself. Let me know how things work out

Also I used green in the Commonwealth or what ever its called and though it's a little laggy if you use some of the mods I have that increase spawns of ghouls by alot plus the one you gave after staying in place but it gives a far into the zombie apocalypse vibe with so much overgrowth everywhere that takes over everywhere since there are no longer enough humans to clean up all of the shrubs trees ectc etc and I actually recommend it as without my ghoul spawn boosters it won't get crazy laggy and I'm to lazy to put a ton of periods in this because I'm in a rush so here is a long sentence.

Hey flopkin, this is a great video and I have rewatched it like 3 times. Super cool stuff here but I need to not reset my playthrough and make a new world LoL. I just wish that there was a mod that changed the animation of meelee attacks. They feel kind of bland just holding the weapons and only have 1 animation for attacks and the stamina attacks are not much different. I'll keep an eye out for mods but I'm sure we can both agree that the meelee is bland.

Dunno if anyone mentioned this yet or if anyone will see this, but one PS4 mod that I found to be really helpful in setting a creepy mood was Bleak. It's a mod that both darkens the nights and makes rain, fog, and snowing constant. This basically ensures that there will never be a sunny day and helps create a more nuclear winter feel. Might wanna turn the weather volume down though since it will be nearly constant, the only exception being when the whether is foggy. I personally found it very conducive to making the game creepy af, especially with the extreme lack of visibility. Pair this with a realism mod and everything that moves is horrifying.

@Flopkin I hope you'll cover a video on useful equipment like for example 3:19 darker nights you could use the fast track helmet is a military style helmet with various night vision modes and goggles, you have to actually toggle a switch to the Dpad. It'll have a pill 💊 icon. Basically what it does is it gives you movie style military night vision, heat vision which will highlight walkers & other living targets and a inferred vision (red) mode which will highlight automatrons. Plus it'll look like you salvaged it off a dead soldier adding to a zombie survival playthrough

One thing to note: on occasion the head shot requirement for the Zombie Walkers mod will bug. I have had zombies become unkillable, no matter how many times I hit their heads. I burned 500 rnds at one, crippling it to where all 4 limbs were gone and it was on the ground, but headshots would not finish it off. I finally had to run away to reset the cell. Combining Zombie Walkers with DECAY and More Ghouls can make things quite a challenge. DECAY will make the zombies lunge and jump at you like regular ferals, but they shamble like zombies.

If your trying to make a Call of duty: Zombies, in Fallout 4 I recommend 4 mods Zombie Walkers Scorched Earth Dead sun weather Plutonium Creatures And if there’s a mod that changes the ghoul noise to the COD zombie noise, try that

In my opinion the best backpack mod for pc/Xbox is Wasteland Tactical-VWOP because not only can you carry a backpack but you can also put weapons/items on it (However some weapons require their own mods so the will appear bright pink) you can also upgrade the backpacks with increased carry weight, extra ballistic resistance and even an auto stealth-boy when you crouch as well as some different colours for the packs themselves

If you use some star wars mods with these you can play a sorta "death troopers" experience... Plus with "create followers" you can make checkpoints with the camping mod by leaving the ring of the follower in a bag or suit case

I have this game on both consoles. I've already heavily nodded the Hell out of the Xbox version, so I'll turn the PS4 version into a zombie game. And to add more of a challenge, I'll play on survival mode. I'll even add the mods that replace bugs, animals, and other creatures with Feral Ghouls. I'll still keep Raiders to make them paranoid survivors.

Quick thing for ps4 players: the zombie walker mod on ps4 just changes the ghoul names to zombies and puts them in hordes since the holotape doesn’t exist on ps4

So you have a zombie apocalypse mod list, winter survival mod list, and a immersive fall mod list. Have you thought about making a militarized apocalypse? It may not be as lore friendly but could be an interesting playthrough. There's already militarized minutemen. I'd like to see what you'd come up with if it catches your interest!
