It's not KNF FAA, it's fermented fish fertilizing liquid (JADAM JLF). Forest litter (microorganisms) should also have been added. KNF FAA is a volume of fish for an equal volume of sugar and you have to add IMO2, IMO3 or IMO4. It is necessary to wait 3 to 6 months minimum before use.

Yes it can be..Minimum is 14 days but for good and better result ferment it 3-6 months. That is the maximum.

@@THESELFTAUGHTGARDENER71 Just because you get some liquid after 14 days doesn't mean you get good FAA. In fact, you mostly have melted sugar (with some traces of fish). It will still feed the micro-organism in the soil, but you won't get much of the most desired effect (which is better calcium and phosphorous availability). I would not recommend to start taking some before at least a few months, otherwise you're just removing sugar that you NEED for proper fermentation.

It is fast in tropical country. 2-4weeks can get it.

in tropical climates, fermentation is faster, usually 3 weeks you can get these results.

Fish Amino Acid (FAA) is a liquid made from fish waste. FAA is a great fertilizer for soil and plant leaves because it is rich in nitrogen which helps improve the growth of the crops during their vegetation period.

Nutrient in Fish Animo Acid All fish apparently require the same ten indispens- able or essential dietary amino acids required by most other animals. These amino acids are: arginine (arg), histidine (his), isoleucine file), leucine (leu), lysine (lys), methionine (met), phenylalanine (phe), threonine (thr), tryptophan (trp) and valine (val).

@@ajaykagalagomb8336 According to AGRICULTURAL TRAINING INSTITUTE in Diliman, Quezon City which is my source for this FAA. The APPLICATION is the following: 1. For foliar spray to orchids, ornamentals, vegetables, and fruit trees. 2. Use 2 tablespoons FAA per liter of clean water. Use a new sprayer, otherwise clean the sprayer thoroughly before using. 3. Spray the leaves or the soil. 4. Spray every 7 days on newly planted seedlings until the fruiting stage. Spray early in the morning at 4:00am-6:00am or in the afternoon from 5:00pm until sunset when organisms are most active. 5. Spray on the following: a) On rice: 7 days after transplanting up to panicle initiation stage b) On corn: 7 days after sowing and every 10 days thereafter until the milking stage c) On fruit trees: every 10 days to maintain vigor.

No, the FAA smell is not bad. FAA, when completely fermented, will have a sweet, slightly fishy odor.

It should not be left open for a long time because flies lay eggs and larva in the concentrate. This will spoil the quality and the storage capacity. The procured Fish amino acid becomes waste after 9 months of storage. Hence should be used within 6- 9 months of preparation.

Where do the bubbles fo from the fermenting process? Even making fermented pickles or veggies you need a loose lid to release the gasses created.. Completely sealed would be an issue..

You don't use that as foliar, fish has oil which will burn the leaves, better to broadcast it in soil.
