For those which are interested: The zinc metal is more readily oxidised than copper, so will react to form Zn 2+ ions releasing 2 electrons into the wire. Some of the copper will react with citric acid in the lemon to form aqueous Cu2+ ions, which will gain the two electrons lost by the Zinc to reform solid copper. This flow of electrons creates the current.

***** Volts alone doesn't tell you how much power is being produced. Amps is also needed. What is important is how many watts- that is how power is measured. Volts times amps equals watts. The amount of amps that lemon is putting out is about 1 milliamp. One AA battery puts out over 2000 milliamps. A lemon puts out about .9 volts. One AA battery is at 1.3 volts or so. One AA battery is thousands of times more powerful than a lemon. There is no way by any stretch of the imagination that this video is plausible.
