@margote39904 жыл бұрын
@Barricade 2oo4 how right you are! I had to do a triple take, and realized the same thing. A little aluminum foil or steel wool works great and is very light weight as well as taking up hardly any space in a go bag. Me? I always carry lighters on me in my large bag purse. But....I could find myself separated from it. Thinking I may carry a sandwich bag with a few items jic, in my pocket. Not paranoid at all; just don’t want to be caught sleeping.

if you can carry a spare battery and kitkat around you may as well just take a lighter and some matches along for the trip as well yeah ;) lol
@alfredharrison5974 жыл бұрын
I mean, i think this is being taken out of context, the idea is being stranded somehow by a boat accident or something and being forced into a survival situation and you only have these items. The proof is that you do not NEED matches or a lighter, and people need to know this. If you can get your mind out of needing society to survive you can totally see what he is trying to say. Most if not all the items he had you could probably find lying around as trash and use that. It is not likely you'll find matches or a lighter lying around.

Make the foil to the batteries a lot smaller/thinner or even use a wire. That way you can re-use the battery more than a couple times. The thicker/bigger the gauge of the foil or wire the faster the battery will go dead or just not work. Be careful cover your finger tips.

Your ideas are one of a kind compared to the rest. And why? It's because true survivors mostly come from shipwreck who were floating and dropped by an unknown island and had no jungle bolo or kitchen knives, etc. Maybe a bottled water presumably along with them but not a jungle bolo who happened to be mostly shown in other channels on making fire for survivors.
