Hi rosie if i made the roses and they still soft after 5 hours they didn't dry what i have to do? Thats mean that the gum paste are not good enough??
@Rosiesdessertspot8 жыл бұрын
Hi +Jana Ezzedine, I would leave it overnight to be sure. otherwise you can add tylose powder to the gumpaste and it will dry faster :)

Those are some fancy oreos! I would call them Flower Oreos....not necessarily chocolate covered-focus. The flower seem like the focus here, since they are a work of art!

Rosie! I love your videos you're so amazing! do you need to put them in the fridge or let them dry in room temp? will they sweat after awhile if taken out of the fridge? also I've seen you use stream to erase corn starch, is there something else we can use if we don't have a steamer?

Hey Rosie , I bought those gold dust and I wanted to use in the liquid form for the chocolate molds and paint them with brush before putting chocolate into the molds. How can i turn the dust into liquids. With alcohol or cacao butter ? And what the ratio should be like? Can you please give me a recipe for that ?
@Rosiesdessertspot8 жыл бұрын
hi +aysegul balan, I would use some vodka. In terms of recipe, I would add in a few drops at a time until I reach the consistency that I like :) I would aim for a thin paste, but nothing too watery.

can you use crisco instead of copha/coconut oil?
@Rosiesdessertspot8 жыл бұрын
hey jenlovesjobros, copha / coconut oil set hard at room temp whereas crisco is soft and easily spreadable. it can still be used but the chocolate won't be as crisp / hard set.

I liked the pink ones; I'm always looking for new ideas for molds, you could submerge a hardened Oreo sized disk of ganache instead of Oreos, and flavoured ganache could be an idea also...

Hi, I Live it !! But when it try making this the chocolate always sticks to the mold , what can I do so this won't happen ? Thank you So much
@Rosiesdessertspot9 жыл бұрын
Hi +Dacia Hernandez, does this happen even after the chocolate has sat in the fridge for half an hour? If you, you could always rub just a little vegetable shortening around the mould to help it not to stick.
@daciah75779 жыл бұрын
Thank you , I will try it.

Well done!! These are gorgeous. I too am from Australia (Canberra), the etsy link you provided is from the US. Is this the one you have used, or sourced from Aus? Would love to do these for Christmas! 😊
@Rosiesdessertspot9 жыл бұрын
Hi +Amy P , the only moulds I could find are located in the US unfortunately. Here is one buyer who seems to ship to Australia: www.etsy.com/au/listing/208077261/plain-oreo-chocolate-mold?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=oreo%20mold&ref=sr_gallery_25 (still a little cheaper than the rest in terms of shipping costs, but might be a little expensive all the same. Best I could find so far!)

What will happen if I don't use coconut oil pls
@Rosiesdessertspot9 жыл бұрын
Hi +kay thi, if you add in gel food colour to melted chocolate without coconut oil then the chocolate will likely begin to harden and become grainy and unworkable. But if you don't want to add in coconut chocolate, you could always just use either powdered colour or oil based colours and nothing will happen to your chocolate :)

Hey +Gluten Free Baking With Lily, I do actually :) Although I am not a fan of witter so I don't post as much as I probably should on there. twitter.com/rosiesds Does white chocolate contain gluten I wonder? You could even replace the oreos with gluten free cookies :)
@glutenfreebakingwithlily5839 жыл бұрын
I was thinking I should just make a gluten free oreo! :) I know the white chocolate I buy doesn't have any. Some warn they can have traces of wheat, it depends on the level of sensitivity a person has. If you don't mind I would love to connect with you on twitter.
