I'm trying to put instrumental behind the cover. How would I go about that? When I pull it outta my files the software just kinda blue screens. When I got past that, the sound just dont play.

Lower the note because some soundfonts are too low to be heard in a certain key level

i got soundfonts, but it seems like some character soundfonts (tordbot, herobrine) can't sing pass a certain note. like for example herobrine sings the note c but cant sing a high d, one key above it. is there anyway to make sure all the parts of the cover are sang or no notes that the character cant sing are there?

You have to either find a different soundfont of that character, make a soundfont of that character, or use a different character

Download it from the mod you're making the cover from and add it into the sample track (first track) and turn the volume down on the track and there you have the instrumental! Reply if anything goes (hopefully not) wrong...
