Exactly, for anyone who was paying attention, they never revealed or showed the anode end of the bulb. Which was missing, and if you payed close enough attention, you could notice that missing end of the hollowed out buld. The longer leg is called the anode (positive). The shorter leg is called the cathode (negative). The anode needs to connect to the power source (positive) while the cathode should be connected to ground (negative).

And having a degree in electronics I can tell you that this is bull $h!t and totally misleading. Because if making electricity was this easy they would be readily available to buy cheap as the materials being used aren't that costly.

Can someone explain what a car spark plug has to do with this? It will work without it too. If the conductor is in a constant magnetic field, then a potential difference appears at its ends - electric voltage. The car spark plug works on an electric breakdown, which does not occur in this circuit. So what is it here for?
