This all started because my kids had a big Spring Concert coming up and I thought it would be super fun to create a photo op, that could then be used throughout the Spring and Summer.
Giant Foam Roses and Flowers instantly popped into my mind!
I am using my Cricut Maker 3 to cut all of these petals but you can absolutely cut by hand if you dont have a machine.
The beauty of Cricut, is that you can have it do all the mundane tasks while you get to do all the fun creative ones!
I built these on 6" long 1/2" wide PVC pipe and that provides so many additional options for the displaying them down the road!
They are super durable once you make them and dont change shape, even in the direct heat and sunlight.

Tip: You can use cheap under flooring foam as replacement for EVA foam which is very expensive, and it takes spray paint very well, I used gold and silver glitter it was awesome! So EVA $15 a sheet and vs flooring foam $15 for a roll 20ft long!

such a great suggestion! I just added it! It was $68 for the all 8 flowers. That does not include the Cricut Machine or the Photo Arch. I borrowed the arch from a friend but it can be bought for $45- $55

yes totally! I tried it and didn't like it but that's because I tried painting after the fact. I would recommend painting all the petals first and THEN assembling them
