Have a question, looking for your advice, I have a jumpsuit and I would love to take in on both sides about 1/2 inch on both sides and has pockets… the top fits well just need a little nip tuck around the hips. Any insight would be great…. TIA Carole

A tailoring teacher(60 years ago) taught me that the ROUND point of your scissors are to be on the table when cutting. Using the POINT can cause you to DIG into the table. It will feel awkward at first but it’s much more comfortable when you get used to using your scissors properly. Lesson learned.

I used to hand paint t shirts in the 70’s and I never thought about using Rit dye to paint-even though i died the entire T shirt first with Rit. What a great idea!

That's exactly what I wanted to do for ages, turning old vintage table cloths into a circle skirt, two of which belonged to my gran. I haven't dared touching them ye though! I recently bought another beautiful huge table cloth, that I thought would be great for a long coat. But again there is so much beautiful detail, very similar to your top, and I'm scared cutting into it!
