I bought a 1/2 quart of polycrylic and it did 12 ornaments and still had about half a can left if anyone was wondering. And dollar tree had cups and squeeze bottles. This tutorial was super helpful. 😊❤️

Love this! Great video!! I was asked to help w/ my grandsons 1st grade class to make ornaments. I shared this w/ his teacher to help her see & together we're making a craft day "game plan". Having done this before 10 years ago, then hand painting Disney princess' on them, I know how good Polycrylic is. 👍

It’s permanent vinyl cut with an electronic die cutting machine like Cricut or Silhouette.

I'm still having issues getting my decal on a round ornament. Oh yea ad im typing i hear you recommended the flat ones. I've even cut slits in my vinyl to get it to lay right and im just not happy with how it turns out

Yes but you will need to let dry completely and then repeat the same process but be sure it’s all the way dry first ♥️

I have never done the inside with acrylic paint is that easier than doing it outside and I would think doing it on the inside you wouldn't have to seal it, thoughts and suggestions

This is not polyurethane, this is polycrylic… it does not have a smell like polyurethane and is water based. 🥰

Yes that is usually best :) Just want to wait for it to dry completely before capping it but it won’t hurt for it to dry on it’s side 🥰

Love your video and so easy to make, do you seal the names with names with anything. I made the acrylic keychains didn't seal it with anything and the name came off. If you sealed it with anything What would you recommend.

As long as you are using a high quality permanent adhesive vinyl there is no need to seal :)

I have used Mod Podge spray sealer for a few things I’ve done but usually not necessary if vinyl is done on plastic or glass. When I make some painted wood or canvas stuff I’ve had to use sealance on it before adding vinyl and a quick spray after also just to make sure

That was my idea also. I don’t plan on selling them, just wanted to make them for my mom with my kids names on them - maybe mod podge (glossy kind only) would work but it’s really thick so idk 🤷🏼♀️

Hi Barry, Minwax polycrylic is a water based clear coat top sealer for surfaces, as opposed to polyurethane which I believe is oil based. If you can find a water based clear coat sealer product, I think you'd be good to go.

You can use liquid hair spray. Find a spray in a pump bottle.
