I almost always find a need to Freeze my Rotobrush layers. I think this would solve what you're talking about at 6:47

Out of those 2 I'd say animate as I've done it for longer and think it gets better results. But the perfect way would be to combine using animate with eb synth, which I will cover that process in an upcoming video! 🙂

Hey I like your videos very much. Your clear descriptions are very helpful. But I'm having a problem, I hope you can help. Using AE version 22. I'm able to follow your rotoscoping instructions up to the color fill. My version doesn't show an option for color fill. Any suggestions?

Hi Tony, just to clarify it should just be the "Fill" effect located in the effects tab. If it's not available in there it might be best to reinstall after effects as I have had some issues in the past where it's not worked/appeared and that has done the trick. Hope this helps!

Make sure you duplicate the layer before adding rotobrush. Then on the original layer make sure the eye icon is ticked when you go back into your comp
