If anyone deserved a "Like" its this woman. 15 minutes and I didnt get bored, and could listen to her talk all day about this stuff. I have Goldenrod growing right outside my back door and just bought a Goldenrod Honey from the store (im guess Goldenrod Honey is honey that was gathered from hives placed in fields of Goldenrod. So I'd love to make this with that specific Honey. Btw have you tried making Honey with Goldenrod AND Yarrow soaking in it? Also if one wanted to stop or prevent the honey from fermenting they could place the Honey in the refrigerator. Yeast needs a specific warm temperature to ferment.

yeah at the end April did bring that up. I'm going to try with some yarrow like you mentioned. Will let you know in a few months. Did you ever try it?

WOW... you are FANTASTIC! You have an effortless way about you and a tremendously stimulating way of engaging the viewer.. Smart smart lady.. wacky and funny and full of the vigour of life! What fun it would be to have you as a neighbour! I hear you discuss the adventures you get up to and I can't help laughing as I get up to much the same.. Recently I went to harvest grape vine leaves.. I found myself climbing trees to get at the leaves. I discovered a decent crop of grapes at the same time..this was fun..but it was made exciting as I had to keep an eye on the herd of steer grazing nearby! My harvest ended up including some lovely little wild apples too.. so.. a tiny dreamy jar of jelly or two as a result of a fantastic walk in a meadow.. It makes me feel good inside to hear of others loving and becoming friends with their green spaces.. Thank you for taking the plunge in deciding to share with us .. Your passion and knowledge are very obvious.. and inspiring!

I appreciate the time and effort you put in these videos, to share your knowledge and extremely useful information. It's refreshing to see a real person sharing and encouraging others. I'm in southeast Missouri and I don't remember seeing so much goldenrod as there was this fall. My Granddaughter and I gathered lots of the goldenrod and I made the tincture and the infused honey, it will be ready to use in a few days. THANK YOU MUCH

I love the idea of the goldenrod, but I also like the idea of using horehound for those winter sore throats and colds. I have a bunch of it growing and love that astringent taste that it has, with honey it would be dynamite!

I thoroughly enjoy your friendly and warm presentation. I want to bring to your notice, that in India, honey is never cooked, as it turns poisonous. Please do your own research as well. I make many "Arishtams" Tonic, by the same methodology, but the strained liquid is used as it is, not treated, as it is a complete medicine. Look forward to more videos. Thank you.
