We all joke that if you treated classifiers with the intent of making GM, you could theoretically just sit there with a stack of 20's and a crate of ammo and go for it depending on the classifier. That said, I've literally been debating the value of earning it "organically" or doing something more drastic. I shoot at A in Prod with several stray HFs' in the M/GM range but it's consistently mid A. Just wondering what Adam thinks of this situation. Bring the stripper wad and go for it? Or just keep shooting once, twice a month and see how it progresses?

First, its not really legal and few clubs will let you do that. Some, will let you buy a second chance which is legal but its at their discursion. That aside, there -you are working under the premise that if you through enough hopers you'll land a keeper. That won't work, and even if it does you won't get a best 6 of your most recent 8. You have to shoot Alphas on purpose. The classifiers are actually a good test if you can do this on demand. It sounds like that is what you are experiencing -and I had this for awhile too- you'll shoot a great score but it falls off when you shoot too many A scores. Its not enough to be able to do it, you need to be able to do it consistently and the way it is set up is a pretty good test of this. Short of actually cheating, the classifier doesn't lie. If you score isn't there, you aren't ready. Get back to work and try again another day.

My question is, did you dry fire the whole 24 lessons 2x a day, every day?

Usually I alternate between first 12 and second 12 every other day. When I really buckle down and am specifcally preparing for classifiers I do the first 12. A lot of time when I'm doing two-a-days, I'll do first 6 or second 6

Advice needed. I just started USPSA and Steel challenge. I shoot TS2 9mm for steel challenge and Shadow2 for USPSA. I shot limited minor the other day and it was awesome. Will going back and forth hurt? I thought about getting TS2 40 s&w for major. Any thoughts are much appreciated. Thanks

No, I've shot all my best limited scores while training for other divisions and I just pegged GM in Limited too. This is a visual and mental game.
