Hay buddy tell you how l make my rice here's how I make my bait takes 72 oz of rice 88 oz of ketchup 2 cup of plain.salt.2 cup of sugar 8 oz of whatever favor you want to use mix it all up good let it set for 12 hours then mix it all.up again and let it set for 12 more hours then you can fish with it and it will stay good and pack if it take you 6.month or two years it stay good the only thing to remember it got to be plain salt not the salt that got the insolidine in it hope you like this have a good day of fishing

I enjoyed the video. Your F150 video putting that sensor with the vacuum lines on it was a big help. I bought a China el cheapo special on eBay and its been working great. Put the light out and running smooth.

If you get the two types of grits mixed up just remember "IQ" guys we've all heard of IQ scores and stuff, easy to remember. I comes before Q. I hope this makes sense it helped me dedicate it to memory and stop having to double check which one I needed more of.

Packs of Kool aid work well for floavoring. Not only for grits but Chow as well. Cheaper too. Also dry sno cone flavor is a good choice as well if it's available to you.

That's the way i learned to make my grits , but I add the flavor to the corn , mix the wet stuff together and mix the dry stuff together

I usually still use corn.... If I have any left over I put it in a freezer bag and freeze it. If I have any trouble packing I either add some more instant or mix in some panko or bread crumb.

Keep at it and you will get the hang of it. The best thing I can think to say is pack it like a snowball because it's not a doughball of you squeeze it like dough it will not work and make sure the line is coming right out the center

I think some days they bite no matter what you have and some days you wont catch a fish no matter what you have if that makes sense. I think bait is a confidence thing people use whatever they did well on at one point or another. If I'm going strictly on confidence millet is a bait I feel if they are biting I will catch fish.

So a couple ideas. If you're close enough to the Hawg Sauce guys, it might be cool to show how they make their giant sweet corn tubs, or some other non-trade secret product they could show off. With pack baits, castability, breakdowns etc., it might be interesting to see how small batches with slightly different ingredients can greatly affect the breakdown times. Like instead of rolled oat, what happens with quick oats, and then instant oats. How do changes in the recipe that beginners might not think about cause the breakdown and packability to change. If you really find dramatic differences in the ability to cast certain pack baits, that might lend it's self to a video that goes from least packable and fastest breakdown time to most castable and slowest breakdown or if breakdown and casting ability aren't connected.

Thanks for commenting. I dont think I would be able to do anything on how any hawg sauce products are made since Im not an owner nor do I know there process. I was thinking about adding a castability to some of my future videos. I would love to make a bunch of different baits up and go to a field or something and show how different ones pack and how well they can cast. Unfortunately it would get pretty expensive to do all at once. I will try to put my thinking cap on to come up with something in the future though. There are allot of different answers just depends on who you ask. Some believe its all in the pick up others believe its in the bait and while feeding they suck whatever is there in and go. I personally think its the bait that gets em. I have tested puffs vs kix vs bead only many many times side by side and they all worked equally as well if anything I caught a few more fish with just a bead. @@jeremycasper5181 we use the beads here in NC especially for buffs. I use rubber craft beads because it's easy to get the hook through them but yes they do work well.
