lol noob, half of you kids today don't even know the real trap sound. There was a sound before 808 mafia and before metro that is polished and the real trap sound that most people even today are trying to emulate without knowing but are falling short of and its that generic af trap sound we have now that is compensating. I would go as far to say that his generation are the ones that built the modern trap sound, team hitz which he was apart of with two others sso and JJ which all three are goats and there was a handful of producers that where also shaping the sound ppl like dj London no not london on the track, D2thrj Daze Musik, Chris Mecca, Jrum etc. I will give you a hint Vybe beatz - Home coming all the beat makers after that generation are coming with weakness. This an old beat you can tell by the sound so the date on the video will be wrong its actual much older than that. Then even look at song like to the top from johnny juliano most people making beats cannot even unpack all the theory in a song like that from the very first second he is using all sorts of levels of theory that most ppl today cannot even grasp. Just try to unpack a song like that on melodyne intentionally makes his beats so they are hard to copy i reckon. PPL are not surpassing 808 mafia because they built an iconic sound too but they also fell short of the intial sound imo which they were trying to emulate and by doing so found their own formula. That old OG sound is still the best trap sound imo the sound that predates 808 mafia.
