hello man, thanks for all those incredible tutorials, i've a quick question, why do you turn in mono your kick group ? and most of drum ? what does it give to the whole mix ? should i put mono every kick in my production ?

You put your bass frequencies in mono because big systems only have one bass speaker - the sub. Your wide stereo bass will sound great on headphones but then on a club system will phase out and be really muddy, so usually mono everything under 100 - 120

In case you ever wanna take the kick out for a breakdown or something, a seperate track will keep sidechaining whatever it's on :)

Kick can have sometimes a long sustain, there the small sidechain helps you:)
