Ro. This was the first video i saw of yours. It amazed me. How could one carve the shape of a character i was so familiar with into a cake. This video opened a new page of my life. I got really into baking for a while and it brought me so much joy. All because of you. I could not only find joy from you through your videos and baking. I owned a set of bedclothes with hello kittys face printed all over. I turned my duvet upside down and kept it like that on my bed. Each night i would lift my knees up and have one of the hello kitty faces draped over my knees. I would pretend to copy you from levelling the cake to pressing the red fondant neatly into the ‘bow’ groove in the baking tin. I would do this every single night until i fell asleep for as long as i used those bedclothes. I have kept the set of bedclothes to this day as that is just such an interesting memory that i cherish. Thank you ro. You truly deserve the world.
