Stones can be used in shower area, but i would recommend to use moisture barrier as Elastosield on wall prior stone installation globmarble.com/concrete-water-proofing-membrane-elastomeric-liquid-elasto-shield.html You may also have to use a sealer on stone as 327 globmarble.com/concrete-countertop-sealer-xs-327-gloss-matte.html
