She did it after placing it on the refrigerator for 1 or 2 hours. Restaurants do it too. I think all flavors settle while in the refrigerator. It is good if frozen over night and taken out to unthaw for the slushy texture.

You want to turn that flavor up a notch? Add a cup of fresh basil when you boil the water and sugar combo, put the basil in with the mixture. Boil for 15 minutes. Let is cool and set for 30 min (This blends the flavors) then strain the basil out, add the syrup to a container. Add lemon juice, strawberry puree. Mix thoroughly, ice, glass. Enjoy. You're welcome.

we did it like you but we added more of suger then you did and we added 12 slides of oranges.my cousins and me got permission first to do this and everybody loved it. we did the lemonade because we were bord and we are navores. we did it and we are just 10 and 11.

Great recipe;but why make a sugar syrup? Can't you just put the exact amount of sugar in the pitcher? Then add the juices mentioned?

Michael Prince Nah man. Sugar will sink to the bottom because it wont fully dissolve. When you boil then cool water it will allow it to fully dissolve.

There are better recipes out there for strawberry lemonade.There is one by P. Allen Smith Cooking Classics it's a You Tube video and another good one is Byron Talbott and he is also on You Tube. They both put this lady 's recipe to shame.

I am not a envy person. What do I have be envious about? That I might be able to make the drink better,or I make it different, how is that being envious person? I was just giving my opinion that I think there are better strawberry lemonade recipes. No one said that you have take my advice,but we all are allowed to have an opinions and this is where you share them in the comments.
