I fill mine 1/2 way then set it into a pot with boiling water to heat up. This makes the alcohol really interact with the pods. The volume will increase to about 75 % and then you turn off the heat. Let it sit in there for about 20 minutes, then remove to cool and cap. Best fast brew!
