I made a homemade fountain a couple of months ago thanks to your inspiration! I have enough solar panel kits to make 3 more!!! I have learned so much from you about hummingbirds. They are my favorite and now I manage 11 feeders here in Northern California 😃 in addition I put out wild bird food. Something I noticed that’s a total blessing, I don’t have mosquitoes anymore!!!! I have been in my home for 14 years and for the first time I can sit on my back patio in short sleeves and NOT get eaten alive by mosquitoes!!!! Hummers eat them right up!!! Bonus!

Hello Robbie & Gary. I hope you are having a wonderful Saturday. Always love your tips. Maybe you can help me, I just received an order I purchased on line for TULLE to cover my 3' high raised beds. My husband made them, and they are filled with growing dinosaur kale, zucchini, tomatoes, beets, celery, etc. The white butterflies have obviously laid eggs and now the caterpillars/worms from her are eating the kale. I remembered you put tulle around your garden and I just wondered if you could PLEASE show us how to install the taller tulle covers???? I have searched for the whole week picking off these little green wormy things, and I think I am ready to install the tulle. I DON'T WANT TO DO IT ALL WRONG...SO I NEED YOUR ADVICE PLEASE PLEASE. I love both of your gardens, and they are each different. How I wish I had more space Gary, I would love to grow potatoes, banana trees, etc. I put out my Oriole Feeder Robbie that you told me to buy....he has come by 2 times, but never even lands on it to eat the orange or the grape jelly. (I am so sad about that for sure!!) I am gonna keep trying, as I live near a park with a manmade lake, so there are ducks, and tons of birds all around our location. Thank you so much.

How do you draw so many hummingbirds? I had I hanging feeder, one hummingbird would always chase others away so I put up two...Same thing happened. Each was in a separate trees on opposite sides of the yard. So I switched to the window feeder...same thing happened. So now there are two feeders on the windows. Hummingbirds come every 5 minutes or so. But one still chases others away they never feed together. Sometimes two will come, when the bully shows up they fly away but one doesn’t fly far and comes back to feed until the bully shows up seconds later then it starts again. How can I get them to ignore the bully?

Here is the tubing I purchased on ebay (THE 8x10mm), you can check out this aff. link for ideas, this is about 6 feet long, tube size is 8x10mm. Worked perfect for my fountain solar kits. : rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5575376117&toolid=10001&campid=5338267736&customid=&mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2F2m-Rubber-Clear-Soft-Food-Translucent-Silicone-Tube-Approved-Milk-Hose-Beer-Pipe%2F153433855246%3Fvar%3D453377221457%26hash%3Ditem23b95ed50e%3Am%3AmBDk9QOhEW9duOp_z8oy7XQ

So u ended the video saying "just put the globe in a bowl". Then what? Maybe I'm stupid but I have no idea how it works. I'm assuming u fill the bottom bowl with water? I just dont get how it works. And there wasnt any instruction on how much sun it needs? How often do you have to fill it? If you could please continue explaining to the very end I would sure appreciate it. I was totally lost on the ant guard for the hummingbird feeder too. You held it up but i really needed step by step. Some of us are beginners. I am so fascinated with everything you do but sometimes it feels overwhelming. I want to be just like you when I grow up.

How much do you pay for a bird fountain? The cheapest ones are from China and that means 2-4 months to get here.

You really should get a battery drill. Too easy to change bits, no smell and use indoors.

No matter what I can not get them to come to my fountain. I clean it all the time. They all come to my feeders but not to my fountains
