I've been using this exact machine to juice 2 gallons a day from around Sep to Feb every year. You can find them on Amazon for around $170 and is by far the best deal you'll find. This is the first time I've seen this video and it was very informative compared to most videos I've come across. A few things I've learned after pressing close to 1,000 gallons from this machine is that you can use a drill as a motor. There are adaptors that are made for a drill that have a socket adaptor for a 1/2" chuck and a 24mm socket can then be used. This is great for doing a gallon at a time but for just one glass, hand crank is fine. Any cane you buy in the store will already have the top cut off but the ones Lucy showed in the example still had the leaves on. Top leaves are best cut off at harvest time or as soon as you have the ability to. This will reduce perspiration through the leaves and helping it last longer. Otherwise it starts to dry and will the juice will start getting thicker and sweeter as the water evaporates off. We do this on purpose when we make syrup so there's less water to boil off. I have read all the arguments here and really love the enthusiasm of Lucy. But one thing that sugga daddi is right about and that is while the rollers are made from SS201 stainless steel which in some countries is considered food grade, this machine especially on the ends of the roller shafts will rust no matter what. Lucy, we know you need to make a living and you are looking good in this video, but the fact of the matter at the end of the day you are selling a sugarcane machine that Chinese make that do not care one cent about the health of who buys it. It is price and profit thing. You will never see this machine in any mall or successful stall. Yes it is cheap but what is health worth? You are demonstrating a brand new machine. Show us the ends of the roller shafts after 1 year and then tell us it is a good machine. I know what I am taking about. Again, you are super, you are cute and energetic and wish you were on my team. But unfortunately you are promoting a machine in which people who make it care more about profit than human health. Please think carefully.

We understand what you mean but the issue is this. This machine and Lucy knows this by now is that there are major rust issues that happen with the roller shafts and parts of that machine because of the cheap materials they use in China to make it. It would be okay for a few months but it is not a machine for long term. It is ALWAYS better to save and get a good quality machine be it ours or others who make them then to go cheap and end up wasting your money. If we thought for one moment those machines would be good for customers around the world we would be selling them on canemachines.com but we don't simply because we have had 6 years to observe those cheap China made machines and have feedback from hundreds who regret they bought them.
