This jerk shrimp looks amazing. I’m having this today along with salmon bulgar rice and peas with steam cabbage and fried plantains. I season my seafood from last night. I season it in the shell. I was planning of cooking it the way you showed me the pepper shrimp way but I’m gonna remove the shell and add the jerk seasoning to it. I think I like it this way. I’m gonna bake the salmon with sweet chili glaze. I will check your page to see if I find any baked salmon ideas but I really love the way up do this shrimp. I also love how you educating us as you go along. Keep up the good work. God bless you and your family

Son, I made this for our Sunday dinner and they love it. I cooked shrimp a lot but never ever tried the jerk shrimp. I swear to God my family loved eat and ask for second. We also had the leftover yesterday. Whenever I cook I always make enough for two days. Let me tell you what I make. I make your jerk shrimp, baked salmon with sweet chili sauce and bulgar rice and peas yum yum. For vegetables I made steam green and purple cabbage with red green and yellow bell peppers , red onions with a piece of scotch bonnet pepper on the crunchy side. We like our vege crunchy so all I did was stir fried it oh and there was also tomatoes and chopped fresh garlic in the cabbage and for your information it was my first time making bulgar rice and peas. Son I’m tell you it was the bomb. Next week I’m gonna mix it up a little. Instead of doing bulgar rice and peas, I will be making bulgar shrimp and chicken fried rice. And do some steaks.man I wish I knew where you live I would bring you some. The bulgar rice and pas is the bomb..promise me you will try it..

Sorry, hard no. Hard to give a low rating here, but that is what it is. I get my shrimp from the east coast of Canada and they are 4 -5x larger. I'm not from the east coast, but my cousins are and that's how I get the good seafood and they get the good forest meat. We soak the prawns/crayfish in jerk sauce and rum for at least 24 hours and then a quick grill. The recipe itself is ok, but you need more meat and a longer soaking time.

Also leave the shells on.

There are many different ways to do something, this is just one way to do Jerk Shrimp. The size of shrimp is irrelevant likewise where they were sourced. I am Jamaican and this method is a popular way to make them at home. A restaurant that has access to the right type of grill etc will have a different method. Open your mind to new methods , don’t knock it before trying it. That’s why everyone’s potato salad will taste different. Thank you for watching my video, greatly appreciated .😊
