How long do you pickle for? And so glad one can use a slow cooker, the electronic pickle pots are expensive so this helps me out :)

That is true I don't use acid so it perfectly fine it dose effect the metal normal it would turn the metal a coppery colour if u use steel with acid

The heater is a slow cooker you can get them on Amazon and powered you put in the water is called safety pickle I think you can get it on amazon to if not go to www.cooksongold.com hope this helped

Always best to Never use stainless tweezers in the pickle. Copper is the only metal that won't contaminate.
