Seed beads would work well too. You can experiment with different sizes and even try combining with semi precious stone beads as well.

@DatSingingGirl The Black bead is a Swarovski Bicone and the other one is a Swarovski Rondelle, swarovski is very expensive but you can buy cheaper bicones on rhinestone rondelles! Hope this helps
