Back in the day I did a craft called touch and tuck. We made so many. Later I got into needle punch. I made a big wall hanging kit and loved it. We took coloring book pictures and traced them on clothing. I made my son a Lion shirt. This brings back so many memories. I saved that tool and will need to pull it out again. ❤️ I have three kits to do now. Thank you for bringing this craft back.

So I've ordered her a kit to get her started on something so cute... and I'll have her watch this to learn the tips that she needs in order to have a variety of stitches. Thanks so much for sharing. Take care and blessings to y'all.

I love needle punch. I did it in the mid to late 80’s with a company called Cameo. They had a plastic sheath that went over the needle and depending on the length of the sheath was would determine how long your loops were. We also used thread and I still have a denim vest that I punched, cut, and sculpted a Native American chief in full headdress. I think the Cameo Company was headquartered in FL and went out of business in the early to mid 90’s. Thank you for the tutorial.

Kimberbell had the first machine embroidery patterns we could use to quilt on a domestic machine from side to side as the big machines do! I have about a dozen of these patterns! I had no idea she was into hand embroidery - I just know of her fabulous machine embroidery designs! I do hand embroidery and have for about 60 years, just not sure about hand punch embroidery - yet!!! This is small so maybe!!!

I have a small pair of embroidery scissors that I keep in my knitting bag. Have taken that on a number of planes, no problem. Larger scissors probably wouldn’t go through security.
