Tried this recipe step by step. Only problem, when I came to cut them out, they stuck inside bread punch, why?
@baitvault7 жыл бұрын
+Paul Mennell Use a bit of oil on your cutting tool or add a small amount to the mix.

shouldn't you be adding the mixed powders to the liquids after all the liquids have been mixed?? it's liquids with liquids and powders with powders
@baitvault7 жыл бұрын
+Ryan Keating Its just the way this recipe is done. Ive not tried it any other way. Some recipes the liquids are seperated from the dry. I supose its just what you feel comfortable with when making your bait.

If I wanted 6mm ones would I cook for less time and how long do they store for?
@baitvault7 жыл бұрын
+Chris Bigg I would cook them for slighty less time. Just keep an eye on them. As soon as they start to brown take them out. They should end up a wholemeal bread colour. They will store for a long time due to the oil content in them. Keep them dry and in an air tight bag or container and they will last a month before going past there best.

@FPSWildlifeAngler Жыл бұрын
any bait will last about 3 months if kept in air tight container and out of direct sunlight ,the bait will last depending on the current in water or temp mine i went about 90 mins before pulled my rods out and had no bait on

You should used a coffee grinder to grind and mix your salt and other ingredients.

Again, they look good enough to eat. I am going to have to stop watching your videos for a week, I've only got three days fishing this week and I want to try everything I've seen so far. Do you have to freeze these, if not, what's the shelf life? And if it's not like the stupid taxi question ("are you busy tonight mate?', have you done a video on how to make shelf life boilies? Sorry if the question is a bit, 'caught anything mate' but I'd like to carry a selection.

what is the break down time in the water for these
@adamcross98957 жыл бұрын
Steven Peters oats is prety slow i think
@stevep1197 жыл бұрын
was just wondering how often you would have to check bait
@baitvault7 жыл бұрын
+Steven Peters If baked well I have had them last around 2hrs. The less baking time the softer the pellet. Its the oil content that frys the exterior of the pellet allowing a slow absorbtion rate. Less oil quicker breakdown applys too.
@robslaphead7 жыл бұрын
Have you tried to see how long the breakdown is for these pellets
@baitvault7 жыл бұрын
+Rob PrimeR I find that they take 2 -3 hrs to turn to breakdown. The longer you bake them the harder they get, which equals longer breakdown time.
@robslaphead7 жыл бұрын

Why use sugar and oil when u can use eggs and water..
@leesagar86512 жыл бұрын
It kills me when you use water, you're watering down your flavours. Use eggs and a little more oil when you need more liquid, other than that I love this pellet recipe.
