Hi m8 enjoyed video could I use a stick mix instead of clo thanks
@BivvyLife11 ай бұрын
Hi mate, as long as you're using a real food source your imagination is the only limit. If your stick mix is a good quality boilie base mix you'll be creating a good attractant. Pretty sure you'll be buzzin once you start catching on your own glug/ dip Tight lines pal Steve

I've no idea of the ingredients in that mix but it has a very good reputation and from a company like mainline you won't go wrong. Tight lines Steve

Hi do you have to use fishmeal? What other alternative is there for this? And can i get in morrisons or tesco? Like could i use groundbait powder instead? Thankyou
@BivvyLife8 ай бұрын
Hi. You can use any foodstuff at your disposal, providing it's of a powdery/ granular nature, yes you could use a fishmeal based ground bait but you'll probably not get the same feeding reaction. I don't think you'll be able to get ingredients from supermarkets other than the glycerol/glycerine. Tight lines Steve

Here comes the stupid question m8 ..what is clo and fishmeal, and where can i buy them aswell as the glycerol... looks banging,,,just about to buy mabye a corus or NGT glug with bits in it for a birdfood and pellet GB in a baitboat,,,cheers for any advice..👍👍
@BivvyLife Жыл бұрын
Hi kev. It's not a stupid question at all mate, Clo is cod liver oil but why on earth they call this stuff cod liver oil is beyond me. It's finely ground bird seed and egg biscuit, it also has breadcrumbs in it which the manufacturers add to bulk it out. And while it does contain cod liver oil i'd have thought they'd have come up with a better name for it 😃 Fishmeal is basically dried fish finely ground down to a course powder, pellets are made with it. If fish farms rear the young on it, it must be good. You can get glycerol from loads of places mate, small quantities from chemists and supermarkets, bigger quantities from bait companies. I get most of my ingredients from quality baits near Birmingham or CC Moore. Sorry mate I should've put links on the video description. Tight lines Kev Steve qualitybaits.co.uk/ ccmoore.com/

Kevin blitz some boilies you are using and add an NGT glug or similar will do the job and will be PVA friendly 😉

What is CLO
