I had no idea this is how the fork oil impacts suspension stiffness. This was very educational. Also i will try this too. I just ride (& not race)...so dont suppose the negatives will impact mellow riders much. Beautiful 👌🏻

That was best dyi with accessibile tools and the result is awesome...great job bro...just concern about handling if usd become too soft...what is your long time experience...did u use same setting or u add up some oil...cos it looks so soft in video...pls reply...so that i can do it my own...i dont want this much soft...but i really hate stock usd hardness...pls suggest safe oil quantity to remove so i can manage both...keep it up

Just remove 10ml from each fork. I've removed more because I like it as soft as possible. Ride quality has become very smooth. No issues with braking and or handling.

@@jaishetty8586 it may seem too low but it isn't. Also, on trident, do this only if the forks are not depressing at all on mild push. Also, for Street fighters that have gorilla bar stance, it's generally a good idea to increase the handle bar height with risers.

Aapko check karna hoga aapke bike ke suspension ki construction. Agar upar wale chamber me hydraulic fluid hai toh remove karke dekh sakte hain. But i don't know if in gixxer whether springs hard hain ya fluid viscosity zyadi hai. I did this on my Duke after a lot of research.

Bro. Aprillia scooter me koi difference nahi hoga because of small tyre and small travel suspension. For Superbike this is not recommended because they have expensive front forks with built-in suspension modifiers.

Only 1inch kar paoge agar try karoge. But mai recommend nahi katunga. Because, KTM ke fork springs bahut weak hain. Weight add karte hi sag ho jaate hain. Zyada lower karoge toh engine speed breakers pe touch ho jayega.

It's not the forks but the middle stem part that connects the tripple tree to the bike frame. This same issue happens on cycles too. Just need to tighten the nut in the middle and also check the ball bearing. Loose stem can cause bearing damage.

The monoshock is already soft. Its the Seat cushion which is only 1.5" thick. So the rider basically sits on a rigid frame making the ride feel uncomfortable. The monoshock comes from factory at almost the softest setting. There are 2 more steps that you can further reduce.

You're welcome. From factory the rear monoshock is at 2 clicks from the softest setting. Yes you can make it more soft. However the seat cushion on duke is only 2 inches thick. The hardness that you are feeling is the frame of the bike. You should get "Ride on Air". It costs 3.5k and will make your ride a bit more comfortable.

Agar oil old ho gaya hai toh oil replace karna better hoga. Otherwise, dono forks me se thoda sa equal amount me nikal ke check karo.

Just increase the fork Oil level. It's like topping up battery water of inverter/ups. That will make it harder. This will be good if you take your bike on race track.

Before you try, you will have to check what is the actual fork travel on your scooter. Duke has 150mm=15cm fork travel. Conventionally, scooters have smaller tyres and fork travel is also less. But if your scooter forks don't depress easily then you can try.

10ml har ek fork se nikalo. Total 20ml. Zyada bhi nikala toh problem nahi. Vapas daal sakte ho. Just remember, dono fork se same quality nikalo.

Aapka bike kitna old hai? Agar without brake fork compress kar sakte ho to no need. Fz ke front forks bahut soft hain. Agar oil bahut kam ho gaya hai ya spring weak ho gaye hain to fork movement kam ho jayegi and forks stiff feel karenge.

@@arindomrajkhowa1915 aapko 2 things check karni hogi. Fork oil weight (density index), aur amount of fork oil filled. agar heavy density wala fork oil dala toh movement slow ho gayegi. Agar zyada oil dala toh movement hi nahi hogi asani se. Yamaha ka fork oil cheap hai. Better hoga ke ap service center walon se change karwalo. KTM ka fork oil weight 5w hai. Mere Yamaha ka 10w. Mujhe Fz ke fork oil ka weight nahi pata.

It's good to see travel but I feel the tarmac ride will get little difficult.. Secondly the rear suspension is much stiff hence it's matched to the front fork.. Xpulse or Himalayan are good for such R&D ,, lastly oe travel is not so hard in my bike ..

The rear suspension is already soft. The seat foam is hard and to make it worse, it's only 1.5 inch think. I use "Ride on Air" air cushion.
