Thanks! I believe its a 6-7oz. I would say go with at least an 8-9 if you're not going to do two layers though.

Hi Roger, If you search for shearling you should be able to find it. Sheep's wool is another search I've used. It's been so long since I've bought this I forget exactly where. You could try weaver leather.
