The magnification needs to be increased greatly for a projector lens. Also, the material it's made out of if not clear enough will cause lens distortion. I would suggest researching optics and manufacturing of plastic lenses.

How those plastic circles you cut out make perfect curvature? When I tried to make it, i was able to cut out those circles but they didn't had that perfect curvature, it was really wierd curvature, they didn't even stick with each other no matter how hard I tried, even if they get stick, water doesn't get in because those 2 leaves no space when they stick. I wasted 2 bottles for that and still couldn't make it. Do I need a big bottle for that?

I have tried to make them in the past specifically for a VR viewer, and I can say that the risk of bubbles forming is high (with consequent unusability as lenses), and also if you don't seal them well the risk of water leaks which could end up on the phone . A piece of advice for everyone else: buy a pair of real convex lenses and you'll avoid problems!☝️😅😂

Glue won't hold edges when put on the side of adjacent edges. . Edges don't glue together this way and will certainly not hold water.
