I have tried to make them in the past specifically for a VR viewer, and I can say that the risk of bubbles forming is high (with consequent unusability as lenses), and also if you don't seal them well the risk of water leaks which could end up on the phone . A piece of advice for everyone else: buy a pair of real convex lenses and you'll avoid problems!☝️😅😂

Glue won't hold edges when put on the side of adjacent edges. . Edges don't glue together this way and will certainly not hold water.
