Today I show you just how simple it is to make homemade laundry soap in about 10 minutes maybe over all!

O I meant to also tell yall this will jell up over night so don't worry it looks like water at first, but it will jell!!! It's not just water 🤣

Hi.. hope you wont mind me asking how is it going to jell like consistency? Like it has alot of water. Does your soap has anything that will change it or did I miss something you add? I really want to make it but just want to know this before. And also Borax is not legal in Ireland😢 so any alternative?

@faizamahmood7759 always ask!! Yes when you let it sit about 8 to 12 hours it jells!!! I should have waited to show you! But it does so I stir it before I add it to the wash just to make sure it's mixed but it's just like the consistency of store liquid!

@faizamahmood7759 baking soda can be used to replace borax! Borax is just a little more abrasive

how many cups of water is in that canner?

Use any amount. It's just to heat, dissolve the grated Fels. You're putting it in 5 gal. bucket then adding water to fill halfway. I heat up more than she did to dissolve Borax, washing soda then putting in bucket and add tap water. Also, I use Zote instead of Fels. When you dilute, it's less congealed, but still not smooth, so I found a pump dispenser is great to help with that. A spigot left too much in the bottom, and worked less effectively.

Yes! Peggy it is wonderful in all Temps and for HE appliances!

Your title says laundry detergent, you said laundry soap. You made laundry soap. Soap and detergent are not the same thing. Today's HE washers are made to use detergent, not soap.

Thank you so much! The cool thing why this works for HE appliances is because it is a low suds soap.
